Firestop Clash Management ver. 1.2.7025

What's new in FCM version 1.2.7025

The STI Digital team is excited to announce the release of Firestop Clash Management (FCM) version 1.2.7025. This updated version of FCM brings with it a host of performance improvements and bug fixes. This new version of FCM supports Autodesk Revit 2023-2026

New Features/Enhancements:
  • Implement "0 Hour" rating detection and mapping for non-fire rated wall and floor conditions
  • Improved clash detection in linked model conditions
    • Linked model detection can be toggled off from the Project Defaults menu
  • Improved detection and placement of conditions incorporating Autodesk MEP Fabrication elements for both model resident and linked model conditions
  • Improved detection and merger for closely placed penetrations into a single penetration
    • Merge function can be disabled from the Project Defaults menu
    • Merge tolerance can be adjusted from the Project Defaults menu. By default, a range of 4 inches is utilized for detecting and merging penetration conditions
  • Expanded dynamic rules tool to allow for pre-mapping of tested systems to project firestop conditions
  • Improved flexible hourly rating detection and mapping
  • Compatibility with Revit 2026

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed scroll duplication issue in found conditions list
  • Fixed request form crash but in Revit 2025

Notes:

  • When upgrading from previous a versions of FCM, log out and back into your AccessSTI account from within FCM after update to refresh your session.
  • When upgrading an existing model with existing FCM penetration markers to Revit 2026, delete and rerun existing FCM penetration markers. This is a known issue due to a change in element IDs moving from a 32 bit integer to 64 bit. The team is working on an improved upgrade experience that will better handle this transition.
